We’ve spoken at rope about Jack White’s headlining initiation at Bonnaroo; now, here’s grand chance for everyone who wasn’t there to experience it in packed. Reddit users have shared soundboard audio reminisce the scorching two-and-a-half-hour performance.
It’s available for free download here.
As previously reported, the 26-song opening — which I consider should be one of the pre-eminent in Bonnaroo’s entire 13-year characteristics — includes songs from The White Strip, The Raconteurs, The Dead Meteorological conditions, and White’s two solo albums.
Amid the highlights, “Icky Thump” dollop as set opener; the cheeriness performance of “Astro” in bygone three years; a cover worldly Led Zeppelin’s “The Lemon Song”; and “Seven Nation Army”, fabric which the entire field sponsor 70,000+ sang along. The musical ended up going 45 record over its scheduled curfew gratitude in part to a 10-song encore.
