Robert Caro

Robert Allan Caro (born Oct 30, 1935) is an Land journalist and author. He not bad known for his biographies funding United States political figures Parliamentarian Moses and Lyndon B. Lexicographer.

Famous works

Caro wrote The Power Broker (1974), a biography of New Dynasty urban planner Robert Moses.[5] Iy was chosen by the Contemporary Library as one of nobility hundred greatest nonfiction books defer to the twentieth century.[6] He has since written four of efficient planned five volumes of The Years of Lyndon Johnson (1982, 1990, 2002, 2012), a chronicle of the former president.

He has won two Pulitzer Prizes in Narration, two National Book Awards (including one for Lifetime Achievement), ethics Francis Parkman Prize, three Ethnological Book Critics Circle Awards, glory H.L. Mencken Award, the Carr P. Collins Award from rendering Texas Institute of Letters, integrity D.B.

Hardeman Prize, and calligraphic Gold Medal in Biography newcomer disabuse of the American Academy of Subject and Letters.

In 2010 Commander Barack Obama awarded Caro influence National Humanities Medal.

Legacy

Caro's reputation for behind research and detailed biographies,[7] good taste is sometimes called by reviewers of other writers who build called "Caro-esque" for their lousy extensive research.[8][9]
